Moulding

At Sandfly Custom Framing, located in historic Sandfly, in Savannah, GA we have over 2000 moulding samples for you to choose from! We have a large selection of “in stock” mouldings – for last minute rush jobs. For the perfect look, you can choose from hand-finished Italian frames, floater frames, rustic wood frames, frames for oriental pieces, frames for collectables, frames for the driftwood look, or the wooden barn look. We have shiny lacquered frames, bright colored frames, wide frames, skinny frames and even piano key frames. Mats

At Sandfly Custom Framing, all of our matboards are acid-free to ensure the best protection possible for your piece.We carry Bainbridge, Crescent and Artique matboards, in paper, suede, silk, linen, color core, black core, & decorative mats. Mats range in thickness from single ply all the way up to 8-ply, to provide a large degree of customization. Selecting the specific look for your art will be more fun than shopping for furniture or clothing. We are here to help you select the colors and patterns that best suit your art and enhance the initial beauty that you saw in it to begin with.

Sandfly Custom Framing uses a computerized mat cutter enabling us to offer an infinite number of design possibilities. If desired, you can dress up a single mat by simply putting a v-groove around the opening. This saves you the expense of using two mats and can give the illusion of more than one mat. You can also add a decorative design or use an open v-groove to give your piece a more interesting look. Clip Art or original designs can be added to any of your mats. Just ask and we will be glad to work with you on making any piece your very own. The possibilities are limitless!

Glass

 At Sandfly Custom Framing, we are your trusted framing experts. We strive to deliver quality to preserve your art for many years to come with the right frame, matte, & protective glass. The protective coverage over your framed piece is called glazing, & refers to either glass or acrylic.

We offer numerous glazing options to meet any need, offering the best glazing available. We carry Tru-Vue Conservation Grade glazing; this is the only glazing that gives 99% UV protection, which meets the conservation standards written by the International Organization for Standardizations (ISO). We also carry Art Glass Water White, a wonderful true color transparency glaze for superior clarity of image.
